Senior Chief Nthache of Mwanza has hailed MP for the area Hon Joyce Chitsulo for initiating construction of Thetula CDSS in the area of Senior Group Village Kasuza's area. Two classroom blocks, one teachers house, an administration block and VIP latrines are under construction.
The class room block which is at roofing level has been constructed with Constituency Development Fund at a total cost of about K45 million. The staff house will cost about K118 Million and the administration block is estimated to cost K143 million, courtesy of GESD.
“I am particularly grateful for having a secondary school in our area because this will be convenient to our children especially girls, as the walking distance is reasonable,” he added.
MP for the area Joyce Chitsulo encouraged fellow girls in the area not to rush for marriage but rather stay in school to go up to secondary school as the new facility is there for them.
