Member of Parliament for Mwanza West constituency has donated a motorcycle to Kalanga Police Station to beef up the mobility and logistical problems.
In her address that took place at the newly constructed police station, she said that her decision to resource the Police Service is to uplift the logistical base.
"We know how critical a well resourced and efficient police is to the maintenance of peace and order in our society. So over the past four years, including today, I have been trying to fix this problem in our constituency and motivate our law enforcement people by giving them necessary tools for operations," she said.
In his remarks, Mwanza Police Officer -In- Charge Kelvin Maigwa hailed Chitsulo for her unwavering support towards the police service.
"My understanding is that the motorbike will play key role in fighting crimes and will support the community anytime they want services from us," said Maigwa.
