His Excellency, Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, is on Wednesday afternoon meeting Chiefs from Mzimba at Mzuzu State Lodge in the Green City of Mzuzu.
The meeting has accorded the chiefs an opportunity to engage in discussions with the President regarding the current state of development within their respective communities, shedding light on existing challenges and also expressing their gratitude for the developments that are currently underway in the country.
These engagements with traditional leaders are not isolated occurrences but part of a broader initiative by President Chakwera to engage with chiefs from various regions of the country.
Minister of Local Government Unity and Culture Richard Chimwendo Banda and his Deputy, Joyce Chitsulo attended the meeting.
