Member of Parliament for Mwanza West constituency, Joyce Chitsulo continues to impress her constituents by providing them with socioeconomic developments.
In the budget of 2025/26 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) which has been raised by government from K200 million to K220 million, the Member of Parliament for this area in consultation with traditional leaders, vendors, parents, guardians, faith groups among others have decided to prioritize the following projects:
Ngaleke bridge has been allocated K35 million while Mpandasoni CBCC has a share of K40 million, and Kabango CBCC has been allocated K40 million as well. Kasuza Police Unit has been given K72 million while money for the less fortunate students in terms of bursary is pegged at K11 million. Those people who have want to do small scale businesses they are going to get soft loans and the money is tune of K11 million and Administration also gets K11 million chunck as well. The total budget is K220 million.
Meanwhile, Chitsulo who is also Deputy Minister of Local Government Unity and Culture has hailed President Dr Lazarus Chakwera for making her constituency a priority by flooding with different socioeconomic projects that will spur economic growth.
